When I began my undergraduate studies at Sharif University of Technology, Derayeh was a student newsletter aimed at helping freshmen become familiar with the mathematics department and understand how things work at Sharif. In my sophomore year, I was the editor-in-chief of Derayeh. Over time, it evolved into a broader magazine, serving as a non-technical student publication for the mathematics department. I have also contributed to this new version of Derayeh by writing several op-eds.
